After two years of pandemic-induced restrictions on face-to-face interactions, the opportunity to participate in in-person events finally arrived. The 26th edition of the Vietfood & Beverage Trade Show, held from August 11th to 13th, 2022, aimed to promote brand recognition, initiate business networking, connect potential trade partners, and showcase products at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. The trade show achieved great success, providing us with valuable connections to potential business partners. We are proud to be part of this event and supporting the National Support Centre for Agriculture, Stowarzyszenie Rzeźników i Wędliniarzy RP, and the National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producers Groups.
The Vietfood & Beverage Trade Show stands as one of the most influential and largest food exhibitions in Vietnam. These events play a significant role in trade promotion, engaging key players in various business sectors. The food and beverage industry (F&B) has evolved from meeting basic consumer needs to adapting to current market trends and significant food standards, presenting promising opportunities for growth. This exhibition serves as a platform for major Vietnamese food companies to showcase their products to a global audience, providing international companies with opportunities to explore new markets. Crucially, the exhibition functions as a business-to-business (B2B) platform for domestic and international suppliers to find new partners or distributors worldwide.
Poland's Showcase and the "Tasteful Europe" Campaign
Under the theme "Poland Tastes Good", the National Support Centre for Agriculture showcased high-quality products, presenting a large-scale booth adorned with sophisticated decorations and extending warm hospitality to Vietnamese business partners. From a diverse range of Polish specialties to captivating culinary shows that left the crowd in awe, the booth truly embodied its motto "Poland Tastes Good", attracting thousands of visitors to experience the best of Poland.
Operating under the campaign "Tasteful Europe", the Stowarzyszenie Rzeźników i Wędliniarzy RP and National Union of Fruit and Vegetable Producers Groups, with the support of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Promotion Centre, presented the most delicious and flavorful European food. A culinary demonstration unfolded throughout the fair, allowing visitors to savor the full range of flavors and aromas from outstanding Western dishes. The campaign, "Tasteful Europe Tradition and Quality", not only showcased quality products, sustainable food production methodologies, and various cooking methods but also promoted European products through experienced chefs.
Business Potential in the Southeast Asian Market
Beyond the trade fairs, Tasteful Europe in Ho Chi Minh City hosted a special networking event in the food and beverage industry to promote business opportunities and enhance Vietnam-Poland investment relations. The business-to-business (B2B) event at the Rex Hotel aimed to showcase various Polish products and sustainable food production methodologies, fostering connections between Polish and Vietnamese companies.
The promotional activities during the fair introduced Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs to high-quality yet competitively priced European food, including different types of meats as well as fruits and vegetables. With modern production technology and high welfare standards, European products distinguished themselves in the Vietnamese market, introducing sustainable agriculture models. Additionally, with strong agricultural advantages and an extensive array of excellent products, bilateral trade between Vietnam and the European Union (EU) holds numerous opportunities for strengthening cooperation and investment.
